Kat Dennings is an American actress best known for portraying an outspoken and tough Brooklyn girl, Max George Black, in the CBS sitcom '2 Broke Girl'. As a teenager the actress made her acting debut on the show on HBO called "Sex and the City" and then in the musical drama for teens, "Raise Your Voice". The actress starred in films including 'Charlie Bartlett", 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist', 'Daydream Nation and 'To Write Love on Her Arms', and Suburban Gothic. Apart from a supporting role in films including 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin and 'Big Momma's house 2 The Answer Man The Answer Man', 'Thor' as well as its sequel , 'Thor: The Dark World'. In television, she played the lead role on the show Raising Dad and guest starred on a number of other series, such as Without a Trace, ?Clubhouse , ?ER ?"CSI: New York" and The Newsroom.
