LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 - is a pro American basketball player. King James is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players. He is often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous player. James holds four NBA champions. There are four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has the most playoff points, with the second most points in his career total, and seventh-highest assists total in his career. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The third-highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011-2018. James was selected for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, James became the first NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his hometown from Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA superstar. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. He was voted one of the NBA player of the year for 2004. He soon became one of the premier players in the NBA as he won both the NBA MVP Award twice in the years 2009 and 2010. James did not win an award in Cleveland and left the city in 2010 as an "free agent" in the year 2010. This decision was made during the television special The Decision.
